Your Legal and Ethical Responsibilities
Course Summary
This course equips employers, employees, managers, and HR professionals with the knowledge to recognize and respond to intimate partner violence (IPV) in the workplace. Participants will learn how IPV can appear at work, understand their legal obligations under Ontario’s OHSA, ESA, and Human Rights Code, and explore ways to support affected employees through safety planning and accommodations. The course also covers warning signs, potential impacts, and best practices for creating effective violence and harassment policies.
